Arts and Leisure

dad with daughter on way to schoolWe have unrivalled experience of working in the arts and leisure sectors and wrote many of the access guidelines used to benchmark standards across the sectors, including Arts Council England ‘Building Inclusion’ and access checklists. Our client list runs to several hundred and ranges from swimming pools to high profile and international projects such as Tate Modern, King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, Dhahran; and the recently opened Everyman Theatre, Liverpool, winner of the 2014 Stirling Architecture Prize, and which includes the UK’s first Changing Places cubicle in a theatre. Earnscliffe has had a prominent role on several Olympic Park legacy projects, including Canal Park and the Universal Access Award-winning Timber Lodge and Tumbling Bay in Queen Elizabeth Park where our input ensured that every detail of the play-scape and community hub was inclusive. Earnscliffe is currently employed on Riverside Studios; Design Museum; Chelsea Barracks Spa; and Tate Galleries Access Advisory Group.
